YOUTH EMPOWERMENT EDUCATION LIFELINE ORGANIZATION (YEELO)) is a Humanitarian, Non-profit, and non- overnmental organization dedicated to supporting youth and minority groups based needs in education, access to safe water, health, and promotion of livelihoods through micro-enterprise development, animal health services, natural resource management, and Media promotion through capacity building of journalists and supporting the others pillars of legality and audience and awareness towards conflict resolution and peacebuilding programs to reach the equity and equality of social classes.
Youth Empowerment Education Lifeline Organization (YEELO) is a humanitarian, non-profit, and non-governmental organization dedicated to empowering youth and marginalized communities across Somalia. Since its establishment on January 1, 2015, YEELO has worked to expand access to education, health, and safe water, while promoting livelihoods, human rights, and social inclusion.
Headquartered in Beledweyne, Somalia, with liaison representation in Mogadishu and Nairobi, YEELO was founded by local professionals who saw an urgent need to support vulnerable communities—especially minority groups, youth, and pastoral families—through development and humanitarian programs that drive long-term resilience.
YEELO empowers youth, strengthens community institutions, and builds local capacity to improve livelihoods and promote self-reliance. We work toward a Somalia where everyone—regardless of gender, ethnicity, or background—can access education, health, and opportunity, guided by the principles of good governance, gender equity, human rights, and sustainability.
We envision communities where every person has equal access to education and basic services, human rights are respected, and social justice and environmental protection are upheld.

At YEELO, we believe that sustainable change comes from within communities. By investing in education, empowerment, and equality, we are building a foundation where every Somali youth can lead a dignified and hopeful life.
